Cottonwood seedpods floating. Watersounds. Quiet conversation. A cedar-scented after-dinner walk.

you, alicia, are an amazing photographer! love your super sweet and beautiful point of view!

I just moved to Portland and can't wait to explore the quiet woods. Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh, and the Queen Ann's Lace banner is the stuff of dreams. Beautiful weed!

Everything looks so green! I could almost here the sounds of the woodland looking at your photographs :D

Lovely quiet woods -- there is nothing better. We explored the trails behind Reed College. There is a whole lot of history of former days back in this area -- beautiful scenery, former orchards, ruins of a once thriving in ground pool from the 20's and more. All explained in Laura Fosters Portland Hill Walks. You capture the beauty in nature in your photos -- Love them!

Green therapy. Lovely.

Those colors....... they make my want to move into the woods.

So beautiful, you've captured it so well!

So lush, so summer. Maybe I'll take my evening run/walk in the woods tonight.

love your new banner. the outside and your photography skills go together like tacos and salsa! so happy to be in the PNW. so lovely, really. now I'm hungry..

Beautiful photos!

Beautiful photos. I really am enjoying the larger format for the photos.

to live near all that green and beauty would be so least your photos bring it's gorgeousness to the city..jane

That sixth photo makes me want to cry. It is so deeply Oregonian to me. I know it in my bones!

Just beautiful. Thanks for sharing and I love your photos on your blog.

Beautiful photos. I love how you almost take us on the walk with you. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

What can I say? I feel like I was there- just didn't get a hug. Beautiful. Nature. Love. You. Andrew. Love. Without a camera and your talent, I have to throw out words!

Absolutely amazing. I hope to visit Portland one day soon. Thank you for sharing such beautiful, and peaceful photos.

Ahhh - I can almost transport myself there. I went camping last week and the smell of pine and woodsmoke and river was so heavenly!

Natalie VV said "Green therapy" - that's it. It's my favorite color. So soothing and cool; not cold.

Your pictures remind me so much of going for walks in the woods near Vancouver. They are always incredible.

The detail in your photos is amazing. Really beautiful!
