Felty Frenzy

Before we left, I was just finishing up this year's holiday ornaments. I love them. I'm going to photograph them and show them to you next week. We are still going to try to do kits this year. Andy's home today, cutting felt. Our awesome house/petsitter, Nanny Katie (she's also our neighbor's nanny), is out in the dining room assembling patterns. I'm winding yarn. We aren't going to take any orders until we have a whole bunch of finished kits this time. Nanny Katie is in training in case she is suddenly called upon to take over my whole life here should we get called back to Illinois early.

Poor Nanny Katie!!!

Clover Meadow is infatuated with Nanny Katie, so this is really good. She's out in the dining room, lying under the table at her feet. Warms my heart.

I have so much to say, but I think I haven't even begun to really process everything that's going on. It's a lot. Every day of the past few weeks has stretched my heart in ways I have never experienced before. Thank you for being patient with me, and just being here. It means so much more to me than I can possibly express right now.

Excited!!! For the ornaments and for you!!! xoxo

Thanks for keeping in touch during such a special time in your life. I continue to be encouraged by your creativity, and openness to love and appreciate life and lives! Joy to you and yours!!! (:

I've been thinking of you so much these last couple of weeks. Sending love and hope :-) xxxxxxxxxxxx <3

Oooh, can't wait to see the ornaments, Nanny Katie sounds like a treasure, especially if she has bonded with Clover. Still keeping everything crossed for your other mission...

I am so excited for both you and Andy, and confident that you will be excellent parents!

I took a little computer break, and I come back to wonderful news. Andy and Alicia, whatever happens, I wish you all the best in the world and will keep you both in my thoughts and prayers.

I will be praying for you guys every day, hoping for it all to work out as it was meant to be :):) What an exciting time for you and Andy!!!

I'm so excited for you and Andy and am so happy to follow your journey. I'm always in awe after I read your posts and see your photos. Thanks for sharing.

Hurray for the new kit and for you! May all your hopes and dreams come true. I am not going to lie. I have been suffering from Posy withdrawals will you were gone. Your posts are always so encouraging to those of us less skilled. Thank You!!

The best thing about proper "work" is that it can focus you in times of chaos, blissful chaos or otherwise. I can't wait to hear all you have to say about all that's going on. In time...

I like what Holly said. Take your time... with every thing. Every little thing. xo

your heart will only continue to grow...they're actually made to do that. love, love, love :)

I check almost every day, I haven't commented before but my heart is full for you and your sweet family. Hearts being stretched....I love that....and that they don't shrink back to their original size. Grace and peace to you and yours today, Deonna

It's our pleasure, Alicia. :) We're an eager audience when you're ready to dish on all the details, otherwise we're nearby if needed. Virtually cutting felt and winding yarn for you. XOX

Sweet, sweet Alicia, I think of your dear Stretching Heart and I want to burst into tears, simply because i KNOW from experience that the heart-stretching re raising children is sooooooo immense and ongoing, my lovely you are only just beginning. How bloody fantastic for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Take your time with The Processing too, before you know it you'll feel like your feet don't even touch the ground for a nano-second. The processing is important, just like in the third trimester of pregnancy when your body forces you to slooooooow right down. You need to make believe that you've got a huuuuuge tummy to waddle around with (oh and swollen ankles too) and try to rest up mentally/emotionally/physically as much as poss. You hear me right?
Tonnes of love to you, you have to be one of the most gorgeous peeps in Blogland ♥

Overjoyed!! Can't wait to see the ornaments. If I'm excited at the thought of you going back to Illinois early, I can only imagine what it must be like for you guys.
I have a feeling this will be the best holiday season for you guys yet :)

My heart is completely aflutter right now for you and Andy! Take your time... and savour. We'll all be here for sure. ;)

Oh I was so suprised to see this sweet felt guy peeking out this morning. I know how busy your life has been lately & how it will be even more so. Yes, heart stretching is a wonderful term for what you are going through. Keeping you in my thoughts & heart!

Yay! Can't wait to get this new kit :), and can't wait for you and Andy to get your new little one. I have a grandson - he is a month and a half old. It's like having my two girls again only this time I'm not tired.

I am still so excited for you in your journey to get your little one. :) Thinking good thoughts for you and Andy through this process.

Ooooooo..... I can't wait to hear more more more.. very excited for you. I'm also looking forward to seeing your new felt ornament designs. :-) ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Oh Alicia... I can't even begin to imagine what you're living right now. Hoping that everything goes well.

So excited for you!

I just keep happy and positive thoughts headed your way!

So excited for you and so pleased that Clover Meadow has given Nanny Katie two paws up. Please tell Nanny that she is loved by your followers already and that we are hoping for a guest blog appearance (like Andy's). She doesn't know what she's gotten herself into... :) xo
