Oh, It Was Fun!

Studiocraftday1It was, it was so fun. Thank you to everyone who came to Studio Craft yesterday, everyone. It was so good to meet new people and hug so many sweet old friends; I know that it meant a lot to all of us that so many people braved the nasty weather to make it out. Thank you! And a major, very sincere thank you to Sally and Melissa (and Paul and Sam) for organizing everything and hosting us in the first place. I can't think of a single way the day could've been better.

I was so tired afterward that I actually crawled into bed at SIX THIRTY p.m. Wow. That was great. I managed to make it through my favorite (the hot pepper) scene from Dumb and Dumber before I was fast asleep by 8:30. Now it's 5:45 a.m. on Sunday morning and I've been up since 4. Hmmm. Think it's gonna be a slow day around here.

One good thing about getting ready for this weekend was going through the stacked wall of big plastic boxes of stuff that was plaguing me from its stronghold in my basement. I had sort of figured I would never make it through it all, and was working harder to resign myself to the anxiety/low-grade melancholy associated with having a wall of plastic boxes in the basement than I was working to actually disseminate the contents of boxes. But I did tackle most of the boxes. And though a lot of stuff sold, there will be lots of pretty things for the web site update next week or the following. I'm so happy. That wall was seriously bugging me.

Anyhoo, okay. Need more coffee or perhaps a nap. A 6 a.m. nap.

Remember, Holiday Postcard Sale changed to TOMORROW, right? 2 p.m. Be there, baby! And thank you, again, to everyone for making yesterday so awesome, and getting this holiday season kicked off in such a fun, sweet, friend-filled way!!! And everyone looked so adorable, too, didn't they? Loved it.

I love this photo..thank you so much for sharing with those of us in other places! Your pink tree is devine! You so inspired me this weekend to start my Christmas projects. So glad to hear that all went well and I wish you a peaceful, restful day!!

I wish so much I could have been there!!! Dang, dang, dang!! To have all that crafty goodness in one room WITH the people who created it, well, that would have been just a real treat. I'll just have to live it out through everyones posts.

with all that mingling you were doing and you still managed to take that fantastic photo! I am just about to download mine. I miss you already A! So close, yet so far! xoxoxoxo

everything looks so pretty - can't wait to see what was left over!

Oh, how I wish I could have jumped on a plane and attended this event! So many fabulous people in one place, it surely would have made my head spin!

I can't wait for the site update - and I can really, really relate to boxes of plastic bins...do they mock you as they do me?

I can't believe I missed it! I was even in Portland, but we had so much to do that I couldn't convince my husband to go. Maybe on the next one!

Sounds like a good day, but bummer about the waking up early!

Congratulations on a successful event! I'm not surprised you crashed early: all that prep, all the people and transactions! No wonder.

I love your description of "stacked wall of big plastic boxes of stuff that was plaguing me from its stronghold". I so get it. It's amazing how when things sit in one place for a couple days, they become fixtures :)

Oh, what a shame we live so far away over here (Europe)...I would have loved being there, I'm sure!

that is the best sort of complement-- that you had a good time and all (except maybe telling sally and i that we're pretty. everyone likes that.). thank you for being here. really really really really.

I am glad that you had such a great time!!
I hope you have a restful day!!
your table looks great.

congratulations on a wonderful day! I soo wish that I could have stopped by!

Note to self:

Before viewing Posie's blog around the holidays....wrap arms/elbows in bubble wrap, wear helmet!

My gosh!!!! The eye candy!!! AHHHH!! I truly had to save myself from falling off my chair!!

Ohh boy!! Love Love Love it!! Thank you for sharing!! Why do I live so so so far away?!! BOO HOO!!

So happy to hear that you had a fab time!! It sounds/looks like an incredible day!!

Happy Holiday!!!
xoxo Jenny

Wish I could have been there! I looks like you had a good time. I want some cards but will be at my daughter's taking care of my granddaughter (home sick with a virus). ANyway, their computer isn't hooked up so I will have to wait until late tomorrow night! Hope you still have some left. They are so cute.........Glad you had a good sale! Linda:-D

So fun! Looks like you had a ball!

If only New Zealand wasn't so far away! However I can still enjoy reading your blog and drooling over the photos. LOVE that pink tree!

Well done on going through all those boxes!

loving those stockings..

oh, how i wish i could have been there, if not for the shopping, just for the fellowship! xo.

hooray! i was thinking of you ladies all day saturday! could you tell?

I'm so sad that I don't live in Oregon and I missed out! Sounds like you had a really great time though.

Studio Craft was great! I dropped more money faster than I have for quite a while, but it was ALL worth it! Your adorable baby bonnet will look precious on my best friend's new baby girl. It was also great to see so many of the women I read in one place at one time - I felt a little like a weird stalker, salivating over a celebrity. I did try to keep that feeling to myself, at least in the moment...

Where oh where can i find one of those little pink trees!! I must have one, even if i have to but a green one and spray paint it!

it WAS fun!! and it was lovely to meet you!
