And back again.

We returned from our vacation last night, having had an amazing time, but so happy to be home, too! I'm just getting through my first round of coffee this morning, contemplating the huge stack of mail/laundry/messages waiting for me, and will be back with about four million photos tomorrow.

This is a view of downtown Seattle from the deck of the Bainbridge Island ferry, at sunset, on October 12, 2008.

Welcome home Alicia!

Ohhhhhh how I love Bainbridge Island. I wound up there by accident on my very first trip to Seattle and now I go back, mainly for the food at Cafe Lola, anytime I'm there.

What a beautiful photo, and welcome back.

Makes me want to visit again!

Welcome back..we've missed you! I got my ornament kit last weekend and have been keeping it by my bed to look at every's too pretty to open just yet..

Love your work...also like reading about your photography as I am working at mine as well. Just got a great lense for people...24-70 2.8 was not cheap but so good. Wanna give away one of your kits on my blog? I'd love to promote you.

Hi Alicia,

I just wanted to say thank you for the Christmas ornament pack that you sent through to me. It really is lovely. I also loved your postcard and business card. Thank you so much, I will very much look forward to stitching them.

Best wishes to you,

Gemma (In the UK)

Seattle is one of my favorite places of all time!! Really pretty pic, too!

Love the yarn and that golden glow.

beautiful skyline under the sunset that you caught !
can't believe I've been there (and up to the sky needle) from so far away...
thanks for sharing :)

So glad you had such a wonderful trip. Loved every one of your photos and your comments. I'm printing out your whole trip so I can remember exactly where I want to go when I get to the northwest someday.

I've been trying to convince my boyfriend to do Bainbridge for a day. Maybe this will convince him.
