Late yesterday afternoon, we headed out to the Gorge for one last time this summer.
The air was cool, the sky cloudy, the hills hazy blue.
Vista House on Crown Point is one of our favorite places.

I was actually about fifteen feet away when I took these, or he probably wouldn't have let me.
It's been a good summer.
I've loved taking pictures of it. Thanks for letting me share it all with y'all. xoxo
Oh, I hope to go see that some day - cute pictures of your husband, by the way!
Great POV! Thank you for sharing your wonderful photography and blog with us!
Ahhh, Mr. Paulson, you are definitely a hottie!
Very nice, the scenery and the cutie pie hubbie. Thanks for sharing.

Have also enjoyed your summer!
Oooh, cute dimples by the way ;)
Love the "Do marry a hottie, if you can swing it." Definitely good advice!
The last pic is amazing!
Yes, with the weather in the 80-90's this weekend, we are hoping to get out to the Gorge ourselves this weekend! Great pictures!

love the
point of view" shot!
happy fall!
Love the way Andy looks as though he's waving at us in the first pic of him. Makes me want to wave back at my monitor!

Any time!
Wonderful shots! That last one is amazing.

Beautiful pictures! I married a tall, dark, and handsome hottie too. What does yours look like in his glasses?
I love that first pic of Andy - too cute!
You luckies! Thanks so much for sharing all that beauty with us (beauty deprived, concrete ridden, Los Angeles folks)!
Why must you flaunt the fact that you married a plaid shirt-wearing hottie with dimples? Why? That's just mean. Clearly we can't all have one.
Loved seeing your pics
boy, those dimples!
hey, this is TOTALLY unrelated, but have you ever done "quilt as you go" and if so, might you talk about it on here. I saw that SouleMama was doing one and Googled it and got totally excited. The quilting part...trying to manuever a huge piece...has always been my big fear. This seems to obviously doable...but is there a catch I'm not seeing on difficulty or finished result??

good to know you appreciate what you've got! he's totally dreamy. almost as lovely to look at as your beautiful puppy-dog (all dogs are puppies to me, no matter their age).
side note - :) I made your creamy corn bisque last night, and after an evening of mowing the lawn I came in late to a nice warm bowl. Oh how delicious!! Thank-you for sharing!!
you two cuties! thanks for sharing.

Hi,
I have read your blog for a couple of years now, and sadly rarely find a moment to leave a comment- busy Mum (I know that's no excuse), so big apologies. Anyway I just wanted to say how lovely it is to read about someone who is obviously so so happy in their marriage. It really warms my heart to hear about all the lovely romantic things you and your lovely looking/sounding husband get up to. Thanks for sharing it. It's so great to hear all about your life. C
