Uh oh. I sense another crochet freak-out coming on. I hooked up one little blossom in a few minutes the other night just for fun and now . . . now look. A creeper.
I don't have time for the Siren call of cashmerino and baby alpaca right now. Must. Walk. Away. Run. Though it's really tempting to succumb, especially as it is cold, dreary, dark, and rainy outside.
Details to come, I promise.
I learned to crochet from my sister when I was 14 yrs old. I, sorry to say, have stopped and started several times but currently I'm on a started faze...I need inspiration! I loved this stitch and pattern! I need to begin on my 2010 Christmas gifts, and this is a winner!
love love love these!
Wow! These make me want to return to the 70's. I did think they weren't cool then, but know that i'm a granny they sing to me.Oh,the colors! MMM!
I love the colors you picked!!!!!
Okay. I've never crocheted before, but I got a hook out of my knitting supplies and figured out the puffy flower center. Any advice for where to learn how to make corners? If I can turn these circles into squares, I'll be aces.
Also? What size hook are you using? I've got an E and some baby yarn, but your squares look more diminutive and dainty.
Could you please share what pattern and yarn type you are using! So amazing!!!!
Yes... please share the pattern!! I need to crochet!
Beautiful! Could you share the pattern?
I do believe I'm in love with these squares, and the circles within them. I've been drifting around the internet looking for my next "oh my gosh I love this" project to obsess about, and this might be it.
love how the grey seems to update the look....
creep on!
Please don't forget the details. I must have this!

Oh my. I just love this so much. I NEVER would have thought to use that color as a background, but you know, it's just perfect, isn't it?

Beautiful please share when the time is right!
oh man.....I've been trying to decipher this pattern for the last week!! I'm headed south to my sisters and have promised to teach it to them when I get there. I'm single crocheting into the circle, working the puff stitch for two rows but then I can't seem to move to the square with any success. Is that a couple crochet around the circle just adding normal granny corners??!!! AGH!
I would be feeling the call too. Those grannies are fabulous. Love the colors!
These blocks are so pretty!. I've tried to find this pattern on line in in the books I have, but I cannot find it. Could youn provide information on hoe to obtain this pattern. Thanks!
I love these, please do share where we can find the pattern :)
ooooooooooooh. I want to make these granny squares. What would be a good source to learn these?
Thank you so much for taking the time to share with us bloggers!
