Crocheting4

Thank you for the wonderful chicken suggestions! They all sounded so good that reading them almost had the effect of making me rush right out to the grocery store. Irony!!! The scene on the couch was just too tempting, though (when I could find room on the couch for myself — you don't see the kitters in this view, but she is sitting on the top edge of the couch right above the puppers, who can apparently sleep with her head stuffed into the back corner of the couch [since the strands of yarn that were being tossed around kept landing on or near her sensitive ears, requiring her to change positions (though fortunately none of it was enough to actually make her actually get off of the couch, 'cause I love the company of my warmies) ] ). What a pack we are. We needed a day like that, though. Could use a few more, actually.

Can anyone guess what I am trying to crochet up there?

*A hint: It's sorta kinda like something else that you've seen around here before?

Oh I forgot — I wound up taking Rosa's suggestion and made the brown sugar and garlic chicken breast (delish! Thanks Rosa!) and also made some garlic mashed potatoes and Nigella's pea puree with Greek yogurt instead of creme fraiche :-).

Looks like the yoke of a baby sweater to me! I love your office - I have one, too, just about like yours.

Baby pants, is my guess. I've never crocheted them, but I suppose if you made two of those and sewed up the side seams, you'd have pants, right?

Bodice for a little dress or a bib?

Ditto AC -- it doesn't -seem- like your kind of thing but if anyone could pull it off it'd be you :)

I am glad you two liked it. Thank you for linking to me.

Nothing better than working all surrounded by furries. My cats have their stations: one on the back of the couch behind my head, one in her nest on the other side of the couch and one tucked under my left arm. Ah, sweet.

What you're making? Remember my crochet trauma...I can't even go there to guess! Can't wait to see what you're up to.

Love seeing the puppers covered in yarn entrails! I love it too when my little Rosie keeps me company in my sewing room. Except for yesterday when I turned around to see her "scooting" on my crocheted rag rug. x

Could it be a bib? I can see a peek at the Liberty of London clipboard--I have the same one. Love it! (Have to protect it cause my 8yo daughter wants to steal it!)

Baby dress? Your office looks like mine a bit, only substutite a Jack Russell Terrior named Rosie :) who get's caught in yarn or thread and jumps in my lap or if I put my feet up can balance herself on my legs which means I'm not able to leave, oh well more knitting. btw: we say warmies, too.

I saw your Hubby at his place of work on Monday. My sister and I giggled, it was like a celebrity sighting! Can't wait to see what you are making now!

I am loving the puppers and "ideas" of the cats. Could it be a top/bodice for a dress?
I am very inspired by your crochet projects. They scare me so I knit (barely) instead. It looks beautiful. Good luck with it :-)

I think it is the yoke of a darling little girls jumper. An she will look so sweet in it all snuggle next to puppers!

It looks like a Baby Surprise Jacket....but maybe not :)

Your sofa looks so cozy. Perfect to sit and crochet!

It resembles Elizabeth Zimmerman's baby jacket design.

The yarn on her butt kills me!

I (((heart))) Clovie.

i want to kiss clover's belly so bad. i might have to go kiss my dog Bear's belly instead. it will have to suffice!

awwwww! Just look at those little Clover Meadow tootsies!!!!!! So CUTE! Not sure what you're corcheting....What is it? Tell us!!! :)

Yes this is my guess ...Bodice for a little dress or a bib.

Ahhhh! All that fibre and fur....doesn't it just make your heart leap with joy! All of my favourite things! So cute....

Nuzzle Nuzzle to Clover Meadow! It is those exact spots that make me so miss our Daisy-dog. Tho' she was a shepherd husky she and CM are for sure related somehow, same coloring, same sweet spots, same of course I belong on the bed and sofa, floors are for feet!
