Does a girl knit in the woods?

Of course!

(On the Sandy River in Oxbow Park, Saturday afternoon.)

I looks like a cool, refreshing place to spend an afternoon.

Yes, a girl does knit in the woods. And a beautiful woods it is. You are getting quite a stash of beautiful things for the new babe.

That looks like a lovely afternoon. And your title made me laugh aloud.

beautiful place you found! how sweet that you went with books and yarn in tow.

Much prettier place to knit than on the bus like I do.

Look like a pretty perfect place to relax and put in a few hundred stitches or read a few hundred pages.

Beautiful pictures, love that little sweater! Wasn't Saturday a beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest!? Glad you got to get out and enjoy it.

This + baby will be: 1) relaxing at first (as she sleeps in her carrier), 2) a little stressful as she starts to crawl and eat all the dirt and bugs, 3) fun as she starts to toddle around, hanging on to your hand, exploring the world, 4) relaxing again as she gets old enough to wander a bit but stay out of trouble. So much to look forward to!

That cardigan is really coming along nicely!

Sweet moments...

A girl can knit anywhere...

Your baby's wardrobe is inspiring!

Knitting, reading and a nap in the beautiful woods...Perfect!

ABSOLUTELY! I've knit in the craziest places. I once perfect my cable technique on some green Irish yarn while listening to my friends play in a rockabilly band at the American Legion. (Classy, I know.)

I just want to thank you , about this blog ... I visit here allmoust every day .

The title makes me laugh too! I immediately thought of bears.
Seriously, what lovely pictures and what a pastoral experience.
Sun today too. Yipee!

Looks like a lovely day!

Dear Andy,
That is really what I wanted to say.
I chose bears, being the chicken that I am.
I want to know what you were reading. It looks like a well loved book.

You two certainly know how to have a good time! :)

I thought maybe you went to the Squam Art Workshop in New Hampshire by the title question. Great pictures! We'd all rather outside than inside.

Hey, I live by the Sandy... okay, so a few miles upriver from Oxbow, where the Sandy is still whitewater and fresh from the mountain... but nonetheless... sweet.

Did you bring a certain canine?

Looks like a great place to knit to me!
