I hope not too! My plans to take Tag out for a nice nature-trail ride at McGyver Park were derailed by rain yesterday.
Argh! Have fun regardless. ;)
Oh my, that cake holder! Hope the day is wonderful, you can always picnic in front of the fireplace.
What a perfect basket to take on a picnic! Our spring has been too cold and rainy for eating outside...
Hope you have a great time!
Oh wow. Swooning over your cake holder! Have fun~
have fun! my parents had that same picnic basket! love it...
That picnic basket and that cake holder. You have all the stuff I dreamed of having for my playhouse when I was a kid.
I hope you have fun.
Looks lovely! Hope you have a wonderful time!! (I love your basket!!!)
Wish I could go. Looks like fun.
Even your picnics look like art. :) Mine tend to be full of ziploc bags and walmart sacks. shrug. I do usually shove it all in a cute tote. Does that count? :)
Oh, I can only imagine what sort of holy goodness you are packing up! I imagine a delicious cake, wonderful cheeses and crackers, some fresh fruit, a crisp drink, and plenty of good books, along with a cozy blanket (or two). I hope it was a gorgeous day! :)

Oh Alicia!
You make every moment...
of every day...
of ever sweet occasion...
just perfect!
Your sweet little one is just going to adore YOUR world.

Love, love, love your cake saver.
Hey! I have that same cake carrier. Goodwill is my friend. I had an Alicia moment yesterday. Took the mister out for a breakfast picnic and arranged the basket on the picnic table with the french bread sticking out on one side of the basket with the towel draped just so and the jam and pears peaking out the other side and the frenchy looking limeade bottle down in front. Then I realized the he'd also styled the car so that it looked like an ad, what with the angled parking and the woodsy background. We are a pair, that's for sure. Of what is not so clear.
I LOVE that picnic basket! Hope the rain held off.
I have the very same picnic basket! I love to take it on picnics with my fam...I also use vintage cups, plates and napkins. So much fun! Hope it didn't rain on your parade!
that looks just like my picnic basket! and wow, i love that pie carrier, too. hope you did not get rained out!
I hope you had a sunny or at least only overcast picnic! Those polka-dots, the cake holder with the "diamond cap", and basket, they just make my day. We have many picnics here (backyard and otherwise, and even in the cold) with the kiddos. Now if only I could score a cake holder like that and some polka-dots!
Have a wonderful time.
My vote is also with the picnic basket, however I must add to Lori who commented above ... if you get out and picnic more often because it is easier to "grab and go" then I say, "Grab and go girl !" I have beautiful baskets ... sometimes we picnic with them, sometimes without; the memories are great either way.
LOVE this photo!
I have the basket too and it holds a LOT of fabric.
Great photo! It's been nice this afternoon, mostly cloudy but no precipitation. Love the cake holder!
Have fun! My husband and I went on a picnic last night. It was perfect. I'm hosting a giveaway and I'd love it if you stopped by!
Laura @ along for the ride
That looks fun! We just had midwinter solstice over here... We were snuggled up in front of the tv rather than out picnicing... I'd trade with you any day!
