Oh, what a nice birthday weekend I had. French pastries for breakfast, a woods-walk, pretty flowers, macaroni and cheese at Jake's Grill, a waxing moon-rise from the front yard, a glowing cakelet for dessert, a wish, a movie under quilts, Sunday games with my family, sweetest cards and calls and presents. Thank you for all of your sweet wishes! What a wonderful birthday it was.

Happy birthday! Sounds like it was a really lovely day, and I hope a lovely year follows!

Heaven on earth......

Wow. Very "Twilightish" atmosphere. Complete with "Edward" like sideburn shot. Gorgeous photography. Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday, Alicia!

My wish for you is that you really understand the richness that you have brought into so many lives...there is a depth to our life that wouldn't be here without you.

Also, your pictures are gorgeous. Have you ever considered offering notecards in your shop? I'd love a package of cards with your banner-cake all aglow to use as birthday cards. Just an idea.

PS. Me again, is that the Nigella Lawson Guinness Chocolate cake? Therese,xx

glad you had a great day! It all sounds so amazing, but then again, you had me at "pastries." :)

Looks like a nice relaxing day!! It is good to see you in part of the pictures too (love the blue gingham).
Warm Birthday Wishes ♥

everything looked perfect. i hope the tethered miss clover meadow wasn't too worried. you celebrated your day as should we all. funny how the best birthday cakes are the ones we make ourselves. may this be a glorious year for you.

Clover in the trail picture is thinking - If she takes one more step away from me, I'm bustin' down this tree and going after her!!

We went on that very same hike this week. I took the same mossy tree photos. It was so mud-wonderful on the wildwood trail!

I love looking at the world through the eye of your camera! Happy, happy year for you!

Happy belated birthday, Alicia! It sounds like you did it up right. :)

What a beautiful birthday weekend! The macaroni and cheese sounds delicious and the flowers are beautiful. Oh, and the cake is perfect! Happy Belated!!

Happy Birthday! Thanks for the pictures of green, wet things and nature!

Happy Birthday, Sweet One:) Sending you some extra wishes. xoxo

I love looking at your walk in the woods pics. We used to live on the coast and I miss the rain...and the moss...and the ferns.

My Dad's B-day is today. I always think of the Kris Kristofferson song "Jesus was a Capricorn, he ate organic food" LOL!

Thanks for sharing.

Ranunculus? My favorite! A very Happy Birthday to you, Alicia!
