Andy's working all weekend, so it's just us girls here. Watching the sky. Holding down the fort.

Cute! I'd appreciate if you stopped by TulipsTulle soon!

I have never commented before...but I just finished stitching some of the designs for the blackwork sampler in Embroidery Companion, on to a yellow gingham patchwork house for my mum. (in green, not black!) It made me very happy, so I just wanted to say thank you. I hope you will get some snow! I will send you some from Montreal!xx

Ahhh, a candlelit bubble bath accompanied by a good book and a sweet pup. Lovely. :)

What a cozy, lovely day. That tub looks very nice!~

Looks like your all ready for the snow...hope you get some!

i know you love your man andy...but i think girl time is extremely important. enjoy. xoxo

We finally have snow here in Illinois. Hope you get some of the fluffy stuff too. :)

oh i do hope it does snow for you! y'all look so ready, bless your hearts! oh to have some snow... what a wildly warm winter we are having!

Oh I hope so much you get your snow! I love nothing better than to look out the window at the world washed in whiteness and all so quiet and peaceful! I also love candlelight and little twinkly lights all winter long.

I'm so glad you had all that wonderful help writing your notes! BTW~what were you reading in that heavenly-looking bubble bath?

I spy "The Long Winter"! I love those books! Enjoy your weekend!

(well besides my family and autumn and spring and green summers and great lakes and...)

That looks like the perfect weekend to me! I'm off to market to hobnob with other sewing friends....I'm trying to decide which one sounds better...what a quandary. :)

So jealous.....hoping for snow as well. Please share the source for those darling notecards! Enjoy your weekend<3

"jealous" doesn't even begin to describe it. enjoy that hushed peacefulness that comes with snow swirling gently in midair :)

You would have loved it here today in my corner of Michigan. The sky was exactly the color of the linen you used for the winter sampler, which made me extra excited for you to come out with a kit for it!

Hope you get some snow.

These pictures are so cosy! They just make me wanna curl up with a blanket and a book and watch the snow fall... except we're not getting any. :(

Oh ....I am so wanting snow!! It sounds wonderful! I love alone time with the animals...and a snow storm!! and a book and a project .........enjoy...xx

Is there bliss and loveliness in every corner?
What sweet moments.
You ladies enjoy, and thank you for the inspiring glimpses of serenity and cozy living.

All winter lovelieness.
Enjoy.

I thought you might be having a slumber party with your sister and niece! :-) We're watching out the window here in Corbett -- waiting for some pretty flakes to descend.. so far.. NUTTIN"! I have a candle burning and the fire is going and I'm crocheting a granny circle pillow cover to go with my ripple.. it's fun to hibernate.
((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Looks like a nice, cozy day. :) I just googled the article you had on the floor, because I'm getting into growing herbs indoors, and even have my little green onion garden (which is just onions in a glass of water--they regrow 3-4 times before they're kind of shot, but it's fun to get more out of them). Anyway, I hope you get some snow and a nice walk in it.

I know! I can't wait!! I keep going back and forth from the weather channel to the window!!! I hope, I hope, I hope!!!!

Ahhh, hot bath, good book, candlelight...my favorite things!
