Pasta Man

Andy made fresh pasta and tossed it with some sauteed arugula, a bit of cream, and a dusting of Parmesan for Sunday dinner. So excellent. We only get to eat dinner together about half the week. We've been trying to make new things these past few months, branch out a bit. There is something so awesome about having someone make dinner for you. Boy have I ever been spoiled lately. Ridiculously.

Yummmm! I agree there is something extra special and sweet about having someone make dinner for you! A rare treat, indeed! :)

Isn't homemade pasta the best!!! There is such a satisfaction in making it too. My sister gave me a pasta cutter last year for my birthday and I spent an entire afternoon making noodles & basic homemade tomato sauce. These things that often come in ready to go packages are easy to take for granted. How sweet Andy made that delicious meal for you both!! Enjoy!!

LOVE that Andy makes dinner for you!

Chairs are the easiest things to re-upholster. All you need is a staple gun, and some good foam for the cushion, and maybe some batting to go over the foam, depending on the fabric you choose. I'm sure you and Andy can do a great job of the chairs. The Fabric Depot has lots of choices for foam. I love your new dishes!

I'm Alessandra from Italy, your blog is beautiful and I love the photos...I have a little restaurant and your tagliatelle
seem very tasty!...

This dish looks amazing! I too, love when my husband cooks for me. Belgian blueberry waffles are his speciality!!

Complimenti per le tagliatelle!Sembrano perfette!:-))(Google traslation..congratulations for the tagliatelle ... they seem perfect!) Ciao,!Nicky

I love homemade pasta. I go through phases where I'll make it a lot and then I don't make it for a while. Yours looks lovely, and I love that Andy used a pasta machine rather than a Kitchenaid (which would be awesome too). There is something nicely old fashioned about using the pasta machine.
