Oh, summertime: Some days you really do live up to every possible winter daydream I've ever had.

***This post will tell you about that rectangle quilt :)

I'm in Portland, too, and I so agree. Perfection! Your butterfly photo is especially wonderful!

I always love your quilts! You are what got me into quilting! So beautiful, so effortless looking. And your sweet little girl always makes my day. Thank you for sharing!

Daisy chains are exactly what summer is about. As always, you inspire me.

Picture-perfect! Daisy chains, pretty puckered quilts and lovely lovely nature. What else does a body need? x

Every time I view your blog, I want to move to Portland. Love your posts and the beautiful photos.

so so so beautiful pictures !

Delightful . . . love the stripes, flower crown, hoppy rabbit . . . summertime bliss . . .

Gosh, these are awesome pictures!

Those dear little legs! They make my heart melt!

Today, your daughter's outfit takes the cake on adorable.

*sigh* thank you.

Those little legs in those boots!!! Oh my GOSH!!! TOO adorable:) She is just PRECIOUS!!! I finished Miss Juniper Kitty today! What a joy to stitch:) I just ordered Mr. Basil Fox:) Are you going to have a pinterest board again with all the different animals:)?? It was so fun to look through all the Maggie Rabbits! Well...Thanks for another LOVELY post:)

These photos are beautiful! I would love to have half of them framed on my wall. You really do take exquisite pictures.

This looks like a wonderful day. and really, how could you not have a good day with quilts, creeks and a daisy wreath around your head.

Your new blog really shows off your photos well ~ happy spring!

Did you get that bunny in mid hop? That high? So cool!

It looks like the very best of Oregon days. The kind I grew up having as a kid on the Washougal River. It looked so very much like the area you were showing that I had to look very carefully at the landmarks.

We live in the most divine place.

And you have the most divine with kidlet!

Omigosh, her stripes! The daisy crown! The hopping rabbit! The scenery! Picture heaven.

Perfection here in England today as well. Just the right temperature, beautiful sunshine and green, green everywhere. Wonderful photos Alicia, it looks blissful by that river.

Gorgeous pictures Alicia! Oh, and those little toddler legs in those striped shorts and boots...oh my word!

Is it me or do your photos get better and better....ART, I believe they call it. Seriously, Alicia, if you're not submitting your photographs for publication, you should be. And your divine writing😃. I am so jealous of your reader who commented that she finished Miss Juniper Kitty. I've read the instructions and have my supplies gathered, just need to steal some time now. I must confess, I'm stressing over the 80s Country thing you mentioned in your last post....but clever one that you are, I know it will turn out brilliantly! Love this post!

Love the crown of daisies for the tiny princess.

Mid-hop!!! Are you kidding me? I love the diaper bum!

Are those wild strawberry flowers? So small but oh, so full of flavour. And those daisy chain crowns just remind me of days gone by with my little one.

Ravishingly beautiful.

Those photos bring back memories . . . the better part of 60 years ago, my mother and father used to take me (I was probably 18-24 months old) to a similar creek. Honestly, I don't remember a whole lot about those visits, but I do remember how cold and clear the water was. Fortunately, we have some wonderful photos to enhance my faded memory. I am sure that your dear babe will retain warm memories of these days, too!

Oh, how beautiful. Thank you for sharing. Can you tell us where the pictures were taken? I'm a local and don't have many ideas for where to take the little ones!
