Oregon, there are some things you do very, very well, tulips and hazelnut fields being two of them.
Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm with friends; March 27, 2015. (About a month earlier than we went last year. And weirdly, I made the same pie in that post the other day, too.)
Gorgeous! All of it: your photos, the flowers, your daughter. And the dress and the sweater and well, everything!
WOW, stunning tulips, and the hazelnut orchards are if anything even more beautiful. Looks like you all had a lovely time. CJ xx
What a glorious riot of colour! Oregon certainly has much to offer. We are tentatively planning a trip for 2017, so exciting!! Amelia looks just as stunning as the tulips, as always. Gorgeous girl. Hope you have a wonderful weekend:o)
Oh gosh ..heaven on earth!
Mercy! Stunning photos. I am telling you...the more photos you take of your State, the more I have to see it. Have a wonderful weekend!
Tulips are so early this year. Glad you were able to get out to Woodburn.
What an explosion of color! My bulbs are just pushing out of the ground now, so I'm looking forward to when they'll be as bright and lovely as these!
Oh, I just want to eat up that first photo!
So much prettiness! One day I hope to visit ..... on it's on my wish list x
Wishing you a wonderful weekend

Gorgeous! I love seeing the little girls together!
Alicia, I just read a novel I think you'd really love: The Orchardist, by Amanda Coplin. Takes place in Washington state in the early 1900s. The photo of Mimi in the trees reminded me. A very quiet, sad, powerful book. :)
Well, there really aren't words, are there? Breathtaking, and beautiful, come close.
But mostly I am happy just to gaze at the view. Thank you for this pleasure.
That is SUCH a cool place!! Wow!! I'd think I'd died and gone to heaven in there. You know what is really cool? That you make all these beautiful clothes for your little one and you still let her romp and play and get dirty. I absolutely adore that!
Thanks so much for these beautiful photos! I love seeing Amelia in her hand-knits, & hand-made clothes, wearing them in all situations without regard to them getting dirty/ruined. That's what I want for my grandkds.
I would love to see this in person someday. I look forward to your posts about it each year. I agree with the others, it's wonderful to see Amelia in her handmade clothes playing in the dirt. It strikes me that your photos of her are completely timeless because she's wearing such classic-looking things.
Pure magic. Just stunning! :)
Radiant and beautiful. But then, everything is when you have a small child with you, isn't it? If you are able to open your heart and share in their pure joy and wonder at the world. That feeling comes through your photos, thank you for sharing it.
Alicia, what's spring like? I live in Massachusetts and it's been sooooo long since we've had spring. ;)
(Gorgeous photos!)
So lovely, will the tulips so be nice if we go next week? We don't fly to Portland until next Monday.
What lovely photos again, the tulip fields are amazing. Your daughter is as adorable as ever! Sharon x
Heavenly images Alicia!!
So, so beautiful! Looks lovely!
Such beautiful photos!
