It hurts my heart to write this and tell you that Clover Meadow passed away last week. Andy took this picture of her and Agatha on the occasion of Agatha's first time in the yard just a few days before. Clover was almost fifteen years old. I know that some of you have been reading this blog that long and will remember when she was a puppy. Honestly, this is so hard to write. Amelia is sitting behind me at her desk about to start school and I'm afraid I am going to start crying again. I've been putting this off for days, hoping I won't. I am inadequate. She was the sweetest dog. The end was hard. Clover. I miss and love you. Rest in peace, my darling, sweet friend.

I'm so sorry, Alicia. I, too, am brought to tears when I think of my deceased animals and I just cried for your Clover. Lots of love from Pennsylvania. xo

I am so sorry. It does not get any easier-no matter how often you must do this or have this happen.
Hugs to you, Amelia & Andy.

Oh my goodness, I DO remember when Clover was a puppy. Has it really been 15 years? Sending my sincerest heartfelt hugs for you and the family. I know Clover lived their best life with you as their pack.

Huge hugs to your entire family. Hang on to those 15 years wonderful years rather than that hard end. I remember when she arrived after you lost your sweet Audrey. She gave you so many years of love and vice versa. Hugs hugs hugs!

Alicia, you and your family have my deepest, heartfelt condolences. I do remember when Clover Meadow was a pup and looked forward to any mention of her here. What a kind soul she was. I am typing through tears and join you in your sorrow. You will certainly be in my prayers

I do remember when she was a puppy (even tho I mostly lurk) and I'm so sorry. The loss hurts so much. Sending your whole family love.

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a pet is truly awful. I hope you are able to find peace and comfort in your memories of her and knowing that you gave her a wonderful life. <3

Very sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry. I always thought she looked like a real sweetie. xx

I am so sorry for your loss. Our furbabies are precious to us and leave a huge whole when they cross the rainbow bridge. It happens way to soon, no matter how long they are with us. She is forever in your heart. May your memories comfort you. Run free, Clover Meadow. Rest in peace.

I'm so very sorry for your loss. I have loved the pictures of Clover Meadown over the years.

So deeply sorry for your loss.

Oh, Alicia, I'm so very sorry. When a pet goes we lose a best friend, too--the one who greets at the door, who never holds a grudge, who is always thrilled to be with us, and often seems to understand our thoughts and emotions. They leave such a hole in our hearts when they go. Thank you for sharing her with us through the years. What a dear girl. Blessings to you and your family.

Dear sweet Clover Meadow - I am so sorry for your loss. Friends like these fill our hearts so deeply.

I am so sorry for your loss. I read your posts to see how she was faring. Losing our pets is painful, but hopefully you understand that your care for Miss Clover was loving and compassionate. You're in my prayers.

Oh dear Alicia, I'm so, so sorry to hear your sad news! I will send loving thoughts and prayers for comfort and peace as you and your family move forward.

What a beautiful and meaningful photo Andy captured. Clover looks absolutely adorable and I'm sure you will treasure that photo always.

Crying is impossible to avoid when you loved someone as much as you clearly loved Clover. Take care!

Lots of love,

Oh I do remember you getting her as a puppy. So sorry for your loss.

I remember Clover's puppy days. I'm so sorry for your loss. She has always seemed like such a sweet, fun dog.

Oh no, I'm so sorry.

So sorry for your the loss of Clover Meadow. It is so very hard to lose a beloved pet, especially when they are part of our lives for so long.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember when you first got Clover. It seems like just a moment ago. Losing a pet is such a particular heartache. xoxo

Oh, losing a pet is such a heart-wrenching experience, I'm so sorry. I never realized how difficult it could be until our family went through it. I hope it brings comfort to all of you to fill your hearts with happy memories to treasure.

Oh my heart. I'm crying along with you. Sending prayers for comfort and peace to settle on your hearts.

I am so very sorry to hear this news. What a wonderful last picture you have of her. I know how much this hurts as J have been through it and still mourn my dog years later.
